Annual Town Meeting. February 4. 19/29,
In response to the foregoing warrant, the vetire of Brimfield assembled at Town Hall. The telfins and ballot clerks previously appointed by the Selectmen were duly sword by the town Clerk and the ballots were delivered to the ballot clerks.
The meeting was called to order by the Town clerk at 10 o'clock and on motion duly seconded, it was voted to dispense with the reading of the warrant. Article one was then taken up and art. 1. Muurve &. Tarbell was elected moderator, the voting being by ballot and the check list was used as required by law. The polls were declared Art. 2. open and balloting for town officers progressed. at this time the meeting voted to recess until 10:30 at which time business was resumed. art. 3. Voted to accept the town report as printed. Voted that all Committees prut a report of their doings in the annual town report. On motion of C. B. Brown that the chair appoint Trustees of two members as Trustees of the Lincoln Building Lincoln build Fund, it was so voted and the Chair appointed ing Fund. Swing P. Sherman and Ella W. Shaw.

The first appro. to come under this was of 550. for Town Hall maintenance, which took 16 minutes. On resumption of business after the noon recess Mr Chency moved to reconsider his previous motion and vote . This was voted and he offered a motion to vote by ballot and check list on articles 15. 21 and 22. This motion was lost. at 1:30 P.M., the Selectmen and Town Clerk having so authorized, the ballot box was opened and counting of the ballots begun. at 2 ofclock it was voted to extend the time of closing polls to 3 o'clock at which time they were declared closed.
at 3:40 P.M., the business having been completed, the meeting awaited the results of the balloting for town officers. See tveit page.

art. 1. Munroe G. Tarbell was the unanimous choice of the meeting , for moderator and he was declared elected and sworn by the clerk.
art. 2. On motion of Mr. Haley, it was Voted, To rescind the vote taken at the annual meeting under article 21 of the warrant, whereby the sum of "1160. was appropriated to purchase a new truck and to charge rental for the town trucks.
an informal discussion ensued on the question of the town accepting the know) State Highway from forretts mills to the Mouson line, as a town way, if and when the State offers to relinquish same on completion of the new State Highway, It was the sentiment of those present that the Town should accept this piece of road back from the State.

Resolution on death of Hubert 7 . Booth .
Whereas, The Great Father of us all has seen fit to remove from our midst, a good citizen and kind neighbor,
Be it Resolved, That the people of Brumfield assembled in the Town Stall, do hereby express their sorrow in the loss of Mr. Hubert I Booth, a man who was always identified with any movement that was for the benefit of the people of the Town of Brumfield and who gave freely of his services to that End, having served for three years on the Board of Selectines and a member of the present tin Lance committee,
Resolved, That the people of Brimfield Extend to the family of the late Hubert 7. Booth their deep sympathy in their great loss and offer the hope that their great faith in the hereafter will help to console them in their hour of sorrow. Therefore, be it further Resolved,
That the Town Clerk be requested to send to the family of the Late Hubert 7. Booth, a copy of these resolutions and that the same be sprend afon the records of the town.
The above resolutions were adopted at a Caucus of the citizens of Brimfield held on January 11, 19: 30.
