In response to the foregoing warrant, the voter to the number of wighty, gathered at the town hall on Tuesday, May 28, 193vt at 8 P. M. the treeting was called to order by the Town Clerk, who read the warrant and proceed to the election of a moderator: art. 1. Ralph of It all was the unanimous choice of the meeting for moderator and he was sworn by the Clerk! 1 art. 2.


On recommendation of the Zmanc Committee, it was voted, to appropriate $1,263.75 from the machinery Fund for the maintenance, care, re- placement for purchase of town machinery

The joint committee consisting of the selection and Finance Committee reported that they recommended, action on the play ground project be deferred to a more opportune time.


The same Committee recommended that a Town Planning Board be elected at the next lown ameeting and that the matter of the play ground be referred to! this Board for further consideration and that the Sout Committee bring in nominations for members of the Planning Board at the next town meeting In the matter of surfacing the sidewalk bou the Sturbridge road, the Committee recommended surfacing the sidewalk with the "tar penetration" method. These Committee reports were accepted and the Selectmen were authorized to proceed with the surfacing of the sidewalk provided it can be financed
