State Election Hoveraber 4, 1430.
The State election was conducted it the Town Hall in response to the fourgoing warrant and according to the election laws of the Common wealth.
The warrant was read by the town clerk
Land the bolls were declared often at 10 o'clock A. M. The ballot box was unlocked by the constable Land shown to be empty and the register standing at zero.
at 11:30, on order of all the election officers and town clerk, the ballot box was sewed and val lots removed therefrom for counting.
Balloting proceeded until your o'clock, when the polls were declared loved. The register on the ballot box recorded
total number of ballots cast two hundred and thirty-one. Your absent voters ballots cuclosed. i'll envelopes were then examined by the selection
and Town Clerk who found the affidavity on vame properly executed. The envelope were then offered and the ballots removed and deposited in the

Greeting: - In the name of the Commonwealth of Mass, you are hereby required to notify and warm the inhabitants of Brimfield qualified to vote in town affairs to meet in the Town Hall in said Brimfield on Monday, February 2, 1931 at 10 o'clock in the trenoon to act on the following articles:
To choose a moderator to preside over said meeting . To give in their votes to the election officers on one ballot for the following town officers: Town Clerk, three Selectionen, Treasurer, Collector of Takes, Free warden, all for the term of one year; one school committee, one assessor. one Cemetery Com- mussiones, one member Board of Public Welfare, two Lib- ray Trustees, all for the term of three years.

The annual meeting in response to the fore- going warrant was called to order at 10 o'clock, Monday, February 2, 1931, by the Town Clerk. The. reading of the warrant was by vote, dispensed with and article 1, the election of a moderator was taken ufo.
A ballot was taken , the voting list being used and the result was the choice of Munroe I Tarbell for Moderator. - Mr. Jarbell was immediately sworn to the faithful performance of his duties by the Town werk and the polls were then declared open for balloting for town officers.
at this time it was voted to suspend business until 10:30, at which time the meeting continued.
on motion P.A. Parker, it was voted that all apes- priations of $1,000. or over be acted on after dinner. On motion L.S. Oliver, it was voted that all
articles calling for an appropriation of $1,000. or over , be voted on by ballot, the check list being used. Voted, to accept the reports as printed. See list of appropriations. Voted, that Down officers salaries be the same as last year. An attempt was made to amend this so as to include salaries of 30. for the chairman and $15. each for the two other Cemetery Commissioners, but the amendment was not voted.
