At Brighton, about five miles from Boston, are Winship's Brighton Nurseries and Botanic Gardens, a beautiful place much frequented in summer, and where fruit and ornamental trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers of all varieties are cultivated and for sale. This establishment is situated by the side of the Worcester Railroad, at the Brighton depot; fare about fifteen cents. The cars pass here almost every hour in the day.

DICKINSON PRINTING AND BINDING ESTABLISHMENT.
THE DICKINSON PRINTING AND BINDING ESTABLISHMENT
Has been entirely re-modeled since the fire of the 11th of March. The Subscribers have been busily engaged for the last three months in collecting together, from the best Foundries in this and other countries, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPECIMENS OF TYPE AND ORNAMENTS that can be procured.
We could not readily lease a building sufficiently eligible and commodious to meet the wishes of our numerous customers, and were therefore under the necessity of erecting a building especially for our Office, and adapted to our business, at
26 Devonshire St., (adjoining Exchange Coffee House.)
We have now the satisfaction of calling your attention to the most perfect Printing and Binding Establishment in the United States. Our Typographical Department is entirely new, complete, and beautiful. All our twenty-five superior Presses were preserved from the devour- ing element, together with our EMBOSSING DIES, for Business and Address Cards, Billets, &c. In addition, we have just put in operation one of ADAMS' NEW PATENT FOUR ROLLER PRINTING PRESSES, of the largest size. Our Office is now complete. We can print
Books, Pamphlets, Court and Commercial Blanks, Notes, Drafts, Checks,
Bank and Railroad Certificates, Business and Address Cards,
Circulars, Billets, Bill Heads, Posters, Shop Bills, etc. etc.
WITH THE GREATEST DESPATCH, AND ON SATISFACTORY TERMS.
Among the DECIDED ADVANTAGES TO CUSTOMERS, in this establishment, over all others, for the prompt and beautiful execution of EVERY KIND OF BOOK AND PAMPHLET PRINTING AND BINDING, ORNAMENTAL AND OTHER JOB WORK, are the following : -
1. Our MATERIAL IS ENTIRELY NEW, and has been selected with great care; and our FONTS OF TYPE are VERY LARGE, enabling us to contract for the beautiful execution of the most extensive, or the most minute works, in the shortest possible time.
2. Our six POWER PRESSES are of Adams' best patterns, and are placed on the first floor, which is heavily timbered, and firm. We are able, with all our Presses, to turn off ONE THOUSAND TOKENS of work per week, with a clear and beautiful impression.
3. Our DRY ROOM is fitted up with Iron Pipes, so that we can facilitate that part of our business by the use of steam, which enables us to complete work without regard to weather.
4. Our MACHINE FOR SMOOTHING PRINTED PAPER is a superior HYDRAULIC PRESS, susceptible of fifteen hundred tons pressure, and will polish sheets in one hour better than they can be pressed in an ordinary machine in a whole day.
5. Our BINDERY is large, light, well-arranged, and furnished with the best of tools, and the most accomplished workmen.
6. In our JOB DEPARTMENT we have four splendid ROTARY PRESSES, for Cards and Billets ; three superior RUGGLES' ENGINES, for Bill Heads and Posters; five beautiful TUFTS' HAND PRESSES, for Blanks, Checks, &c. ; one NAPIER or CYLINDER PRESS, for cheap Shop and Hand Bills; two EMBOSSING PRESSES, for Hat Tips in Gold, Embossed Cards, Billet Paper, Initial Stamps, &c .; and one powerful COPPERPLATE PRESS, for printing by direct pressure.
7. The whole of our Machinery is driven by one of Tufts' beautiful eight horse power Steam Engines. Our Office is as nearly fire-proof as possible ; and the premises are heated with the exhaust steam of the Engine.
8. We have built, adjoining our Dry Room, a commodious FIRE-PROOF BRICK SAFE, for the storage and safe-keeping of Stereotype, Steel, and Copper Plates, Wood Cuts, &c.
We have aimed, in refitting our extensive Office, to meet the demands of this age of enter- prise and good taste; and if we are able, after a long and successful business career, to judge of what is wanted to constitute a PERFECT BOOK-MAKING ESTABLISHMENT, and JOB OFFICE, you may rest assured that any orders with which we may be favored will be executed to your entire satisfaction, as to TASTE IN ARRANGEMENT, TYPOGRAPHICAL EXECUTION, PRESS WORK, BINDING, and TERMS. We respectfully solicit your orders for Letter-Press, Copperplate, and Job Printing, or Book-Binding, in any or all of their branches.
