In the name of the Commonwealth aforesaid, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Milford, qualified by law to vote in Town Affairs, to meet in the Town Hall in said Town on Mon- day, the twenty-third day of June A. D. 1941 at eight o'clock in the evening, then and there to act upon the fol- lowing articles :-

Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds received from the sales of certain property on Pearl Street, and of certain school house properties, the sum of Twelve hundred dollars ($1200.00) for the purpose of constructing a sewer on Cemetery Street; or take any action in relation thereto.
Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds received from the sales of certain property on Pearl Street, and of certain school house properties, the sum of Six-hundred-Sixty dollars ($660.00) for the purpose of constructing an extension of the pres- ent sewer on Beach Street; or take any action in relation thereto.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the use of the sum of Fifteen hundred fifty-five dollars and seventy-nine cents ($1555,79), being grant balance left in the P. W. A. Cedar Swamp Pond Development Project, to meet the appropriation for Maturing Debt; or take any action relative thereto.
Article 4. To see if the Town will authorize the use of the sum of Fifteen hundred fifty-five dollars and sev- enty-nine cents ($1555.79), being surplus in the appro- priation of Maturing Debt, as available funds for the pur- pose of applying same to the tax rate; or take any action relative thereto.

Labor and Materials Ac- count to lay-out Church Hill Street, and appropriate the said Fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00) from the said ac- count to the Sewer Commissioners for the purpose of con- structing a sewer on said Church Hill Street; or take any action relative thereto.
Article 9. To see if the Town will rescind the vote un- der article 28 of the Annual Town Meeting of 1941, where- by it was Voted: To appropriate One thousand dollars ($1000.00) from W. P. A. Labor and Materials Account to layout Blanchard Road, and appropriate the said One thousand dollars ($1000.00) from said account to the Sewer Commissioners for the purpose of constructing a sewer on said Blanchard Road; or take any action relative thereto.
Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from Repairs to Cunniff Avenue W. P. A. Project to the Highway Department, the sum of Twenty-five hundred dollars ($2500.) for the purpose of meeting the cost of re- pairs to Cunniff Avenue; or take any action relative there- to.

The adjourned Town Meeting June 24, 1941, was called to order by John T. McLoughlin, Moderator, at 8 o'clock P. M. and the inhabitants of the Town of Milford, quali- fied by law to vote in Town Affairs proceeded as follows:
The roll of Town Meeting members was checked and it was found that there was not a quorum, so a recess was declared.

D. 1941 at 8 o'clock in the eve- nings, then and there to act upon the following articles, namely:

To see if the town will vote to transfer an unexpended balance of Eleven hundred twenty dollars and thirty-nine cents ($1,120.39) made under Article 20 at the 1940 Annual Meeting from an appropriation to con- struct a sewer on Alden Street to the appropriation for W. P. A. tools and materials, or take any action in rela- tion thereto.
Article 2. To see if the town will vote to transfer from the appropriation for Public Welfare to the appropriation for Old Age Assistance, the sum of Six thousand dollars ($6,000.00), or take any action in relation thereto.
Article 3. To see if the town will vote to authorize the selectmen to take by eminent domain an easement for highway purposes in a certain parcel of land known as Blanchard Road bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a stone bound on the westerly side of Congress Street at the Northeasterly corner of land now or formerly of one Goldberg at 188-190 Congress street, thence turning an interior angle of 102° 35' off the wester- ly line of Congress Street and proceeding on a course S 76° 15' W 285 ft. to a stone bound, thence turning an angle of 172° 09' and proceeding on a course S 68° 24' W 265 ft. to a stone bound, thence turning an angle of 191° 36' and running S 80° 00' W about 637 ft. more or less to a pipe in a stone wall, the area to be taken to be 40 ft. wide and to lie northerly of the above described line, the supposed owners of which are George A. Beale, Alfred H. Beal and Fred H. Clough, or take an action in rela- tion thereto.
Article 4. To see if the town will vote to adopt the fol- lowing By-law:

Sec. 1. The Highway Surveyor or other officer having charge of ways, for the purpose of removing or plowing snow, or removing ice from any way, may remove or cause to be removed, any vehicle interfering with such work to a public garage, or some other convenient place.
Sec. 2. The owner of such vehicle so removed shall be liable to the Town of Milford for the cost of such re- moval and of the storage charges, if any, resulting there- from.
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds being unexpended monies appropri- ated for the purpose of painting and repairing certain school houses, under Article 40 of the 1941 Annual Town Meeting, the sum of Fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) to the General appropriation of the School Department, or take any action in relation thereto.
And you are hereby directed to serve this Warrant by publishing at least seven days before said meeting an attested copy of this Warrant in the Milford Daily News, a newspaper published and having a general cir- culation in the Town of Milford, and by posting at least seven days before said meeting, attested copies of this Warrant in five or more public places located in said Milford.

In Memoriam
Resolved:
That the Voters of Milford in Annual Town Meeting assembled, have learned with deep regret and profound sorrow of the death of John D. Grady, October 9, 1941, a Town Meeting Member from Precinct 1.
A devoted family man, loyal to his friends, deeply interested in Milford and its municipal problems, Mr. Grady was a valuable member of this body and regular in his attendance at its meetings.
Resolved:
That as a further mark of respect, business of the meeting be suspended and the voters stand with bowed heads as a silent tribute to his memory.
Resolved:
That the Clerk be instructed to send a copy of these resolutions to the relatives of the deceased.
