Result of State Census
Notice was received by the Selectmen from the Office of the Secretary of State that the State Census would be taken as of this year. The materials were furnished by the State but the Town had to assume all expense as far as the census taking and clerical work was concerned.
The Selectmen appointed Catherine L. Coyne, Clerk of the Selectmen to have supervision of the census and she appointed ten workers, two for each precinct to make the canvas.
