134

Treatment Plant:

This year represents the first full year of operation of the improved treatment facilities at the plant, and operation has been good with no outside complaints from odors or other results of operation. As reported last year, there are additional improve- ments to be made involving additional capacity of main discharge lines to the plant, permanent measuring flume and new comminutors, and other incidental improvements. The Board has also discussed operator's salary schedules with the Town Personnel Board.

General:

The Board and its Engineers have consulted during the year with the Board of Health in connection with recommendations on various sewage matters to the Planning Board, and is interested in all efforts to co-operate with other Town Departments and Officials in connection with matters under its jurisdiction.
