Voted that the town establish a sinking fund to be called the Engine House Sinking fund to provide for the pay. ment at maturity of the debt represented by the Herthorough Engine House Bonds"socal that may be issued in connection with the purchase of land on Milk Street corner of Grove Street and the erection of an enger house thereon and that the Town Treasurer on the first day of November next, pay to the Treasures of the Engine House Linking fund hereafter to be chose. the sum of Nine Hundred Dollars($90.00 and that the town at Each annual meeting until the maturity of said fonds raise by taxation and cause to be paid over to the Treasures of the Engine House, Striking Fund a like sum of Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00) provided that said tax may be omitted after the fun hereby established shall have, amounted to a sum of which with its accumulation of interest shall be sufficient to pay such fonds at maturity. Town met as per adjournment and was called to order by the Moderators Article 3 The Moderator stated that motion of Me John 1. Brown (seepage 391) was before the town, MiBrown having the floor when the meeting adjourned. · The Moderator decided that a majority vote only was required to reconsider the vote passed.


Voted to reconsider the vote whereby it Was voted to indefinitely postpone the matter under consideration. 181 for reconsideration, 24 against. George E. Fitch moved that the whole matter te recommitted with instructions that the Select. Hun immediately proceed to enlarge the culverts on thankes, Ruggles and Batter Streets and to widen and deeven the channel of the brook passing through these culvate sufficiently to provide for all necessary drainage.
