Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Braintree, qualified to vote in elections there- in to meet at the polling places in their respective Pre- cincts, to wit :
Polling place in Precinct No. 1, Town Hall.
Polling place in Precinct No. 2, Legion Building, Hol- lis Avenue.
Polling place in Precinct No. 3, Hose House, Allen Street.
On Monday, the second day of March, 1925, at five forty-five o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to bring in- to the Wardens of their respective Precincts their votes on the official ballot for a Moderator, Town Clerk, a Town Treasurer, three Selectmen, one member of the Board of Assessors for a term of three years, three Overseers of the Poor, three Highway Surveyors, three Auditors, a Tax Col- lector, a Tree Warden, two members of the Board of School Committee for a term of three years, one member of the Board of Health for a term of three years, one Water Com- missioner and Commissioner of Sinking Funds for a term of three years, one member of the Municipal Lighting Board for a term of three years, one Park Commissioner for a

The polls will be opened at five forty-five o'clock in the forenoon and will be closed at three o'clock P. M.
You are further directed to notify and warn the said inhabitants qualified to vote as aforesaid to meet at the Town Hall in said Braintree, on Monday, the 9th day of March, 1925, at seven and one-half o'clock in the evening, then and there to act on the following articles, namely :
Article 1. To choose all Town Officers, except those elected by ballot.
Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to bor- row money in anticipation of the revenue of the current financial year.
Article 3. To see if the Town will hold its Treasurer ยท harmless on his bond from any loss which may arise from the failure of any National Bank or Trust Company in which the funds of the Town may be on deposit, said Bank or Trust Company being designated by the Selectmen.
Article 4. To see if the Town will hold its Tax Collector harmless on his bond from any loss. which may arise from the failure of any National Bank or Trust Com- pany in which the funds of the Town may be on deposit, said Bank or Trust Company being designated by the Se- lectmen.
Article 5. To hear and act upon the report of the several boards of Town Officers and any committee, and to choose any committee the Town may think proper.

Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $3,535.85, being the portion of the expense incurred and apportioned by the County Commis- sioners upon the Town for the care, maintenance and re- pairs of the Tuberculosis Hospital, in accordance with Chapter 286 of the General Acts of 1916.
Article 23. To see if the Town will accept Chapter 535 of the Acts of 1910, authorizing the construction of a system of sewerage.
Article 24. To see if the Town will accept Chapter 546 of the Acts of 1910, providing for the addition of the Town to the South Metropolitan Sewerage System.

To see if the Town will appropriate from the income of the Electric Light Department the sum of $9,919.90 for the Depreciation Fund; the sum of $300.00 for the salaries of the Municipal Light Board, and the balance, together with the unexpended balance, $3,923.41, of the year 1924, for operating expenses, renewals, repairs and new construction.
WATER DEPARTMENT
Article 80. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from the income of the Water Department, the sum of $300.00 for salaries of the Water Commissioners, and the balance for operating expenses, extensions, renewals, re- pairs, new construction, and expenses of said department:
Article 81. To see if the Town will vote to reappro- priate the sum of $9,100.00, appropriated under Article 79 of the year 1924, for West Street, and authorize the expendi- ture of an additional sum of $3,211.96 for the substitution of an 8" pipe in place of a 6" pipe.
Article 82. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $11,356.00 to continue an 8" main on West Street from at or near the proposed extension men- tioned in Article 31 to the Great Pond Pumping Station.
Article 83. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $8,463.56 to construct a 6" main

through Peach Street, from Washington Street and about 450 feet on Liberty Street.

To see if the Town will raise and appro- priate such sums as may be necessary for the purpose of purchasing or taking land in Precinct 1 and construct, fur- nish and equip a new grade school building thereon, and authorize the treasurer, with the approval of the selectmen, to borrow all or any part of said sums in accordance with provisions of any general or special act authorizing the town to borrow for such purposes or take any action relative thereto.
Article 90. To see if the Town will vote to purchase or take land on Arbutus Avenue in Precinct 1 and construct,

furnish and equip a new 4-room grade school building there- on, and authorize the treasurer, with the approval of the selectmen, to borrow all or any part of said sums in accord- ance with provisions of any general or special act author- izing the town to borrow for such purposes or take any ac- tion relative thereto.
