«Gentlemen :


We herewith submit our report for year ending . December 31, 1928.


There has been issued from this office 271 per- :mits to install plumbing together with 3 left over from 1927, of this number 274 have passed inspection.


There has been installed in old and new buildings :the following fixtures: (317) closets, (302) lavatories, :(270) bathtubs, (282) sinks, (243) trays, (2) showers, (2) soda fountains, (1) floor drainer, (1) urinal, (2) ibed pan washers making a total of 1422 fixtures the value of which was $115,600.00.


The number of old and new buildings in which plumbing was installed are as follows: (201) new and family houses, (35) old one family houses, (8) old two family houses, (3) old four family houses, (1) old ithree family house, (9) two family houses, (1) new hospital, (8) old stores, (2) old lunch rooms, (1) old (office, ((10) new stores, (7) new refrigerator drips, ((1) mew factory, (1) new four family house, (2) old factories. ((2) soda fountains, (1) floor drain.

REPORT OF THE WATER COMMISSIONERS


The Board of Water Commissioners submit the Annual Report of the Water Department for the year ending December 31, 1928.


Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary have taken place in the department the past year.


The Superintendent's report shows that two hun- dred and thirty-five new services were installed during the year against two hundred and seventy-nine in- stalled during the year 1927.


A reduction in water rates has been made, going into effect January 1, 1929.
