UNDER ARTICLE 16:
Mr. Raymond J. Greenwood moved that the Town vote to transfer from the Stabilization Fund established under the provisions of Section 5B, Chapter 40 of the General Laws, and by vote under Article 50 of the Annual Town Meeting of March 21, 1960, for the purchase of Fire De- partment automotive equipment, the sum of $2,575.00 for the purchase of a Station Wagon type of vehicle for the Fire Department; said pur- chase to be made under the supervision of the Board of Selectmen. It was voted unanimously.
ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Road Machinery Fund a certain sum of money for the purchase of 2 Two Ton Truck Chassis for the Highway Department, such purchase to be made under the supervision of the Board of Selectmen; or act in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will vote to accept for the Town Forest that lies immediately west of Upper Russell Mill Pond and south and east of land of East Coast Builders, Inc. the name of "The Thanks- giving Ground Forest"; or act in relation thereto.

Consulting Civil Engineers, Quincy, Mass." and being thus bounded: Northerly by Lots 200, 201 and Janet Road, 266.142 feet; southeasterly by Parcel B on said plan, 26.99 feet, and northeasterly by other land of the Town of Chelmsford, 264.77 feet. Russell, thence running N 13° 09' E 171.48 feet to land of Martin K. Bovey (Parcel A on said plan), thence running S 80° 30' 34" E 1319.10 feet to land of Edward B. and Mildred G. Russell, thence S 1º 29' 15" E 161.43 feet to a stone bound, said bound being 60.12 feet northerly from inter- section of two walls, thence N 80° 30' 34" W 1283.74 feet along other land of said Russells to point of beginning, all measurements being more or less, said land to be used as a woodland park for passive recrea- tion until such time as the Town may elect no longer to use the land for the purpose for which it was accepted at which time said land is to become the property of the First Parish Unitarian Church of Chelmsford or its successor body; or act in relation thereto.

Russell, thence running N 13° 09' E 171.48 feet to land of Martin K. Bovey, thence running S 80° 30' 34" E 1319.10 feet to land of Edward B. and Mildred G. Russell thence S 1º 29' 15" E 161.43 feet to a stone bound, said bound being 60.12 feet northerly from intersection of two walls, thence N 80° 30' 34" W 1283.74 feet along other land of said Russells to point of beginning, all measurements being more or less, said land to be used as a woodland park for passive recreation until such time as the Town may elect no longer to use the land for the purpose for which it was accepted at which time said land is to become the property of the First Parish Unitarian Church of Chelmsford or its successor body. It was voted unanimously.
ARTICLE 26. In the event of affirmative action under Articles 22, 23 and 24, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Nine Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($965.00) for the use of the Town Forest Committee for surveys of the parcels of land described in Articles

23 and 24, and also for forest tools and materials with which to make forest signs, and also for maintenance of the playground described in Article 22; or act in relation thereto.
UNDER ARTICLE 26.
Mr. Martin K. Bovey moved that the Town vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of Nine Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($965.00) for the use of the Town Forest Committee for surveys of the parcels of land described in Articles 23 and 24, and also for forest tools and materials with which to make forest signs, and also for maintenance of the play- ground described in Article 22. It was voted unanimously.
ARTICLE 27. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Chapter 40, Section 8C of the General Laws, authorizing the Board of Selectmen to appoint a conservation commission; and the provisions of said Chapter 40, Sections 5, clauses (51) and (50), providing for the operation and maintenance of said conservation commission; and the Board of Selectmen are hereby directed, within thirty days of the ac- ceptance of this article, by vote of the Town Meeting, to appoint a conservation commission composed of seven members; and the conserva- tion commission so established are hereby authorized to expand the sum of one hundred fifty dollars (150.) for the purposes of the law.
UNDER ARTICLE 27:
Mr. Martin K. Bovey moved that the Town vote to accept the pro- visions of Chapter 40, Section 8 C of the General Laws, authorizing the Board of Selectmen to appoint a conservation commission; and the pro- visions of said Chapter 40, Section 5, clauses (51) and (50) providing for the operation and maintenance of said conservation commission; and the Board of Selectmen are hereby directed, within thirty days of the ac- ceptance of this article, by vote of the Town Meeting, to appoint a conservation commission composed of seven members; and the conserva- tion commission so established are hereby authorized to expend the sum of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for the purposes of the law. It was voted unanimously.
ARTICLE 28. To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 1B (4) of the Zoning By-Law and the map accompanying said section, and on file with the Clerk of the Town of Chelmsford, "Chelmsford, Mass .- Zoning District Map, 1956" by removing from General Residence District, the fol- lowing described premises, and amend 1B(6) of said section, by including the following described premises as General Business District: The land in Chelmsford, bounded and described as follows: Beginning on the easterly side of Boston Road at the point now zoned for General Busi- ness; thence extending southerly along Boston Road to Summer Street; thence easterly along Summer Street about 400 feet; thence at right angle southerly about 370 feet; thence at right angle easterly about 800 feet; thence at right angle southerly about 550 feet; thence in an easter- ly direction and along an unnamed street on a plan and continuing to

the center line of a brook approximately 1400 feet; thence turning in a northerly direction along center line of brook and continuing along center line of a brook to a point in the center of the brook at point now zoned for General Business; thence southerly, easterly, southerly and westerly along present land zoned for General Business to the point of beginning on Boston Road.

Mr. Carl A. E. Peterson moved that the town vote to amend Section 1B (4) of the zoning By-Law and the map accompanying said section, and on file with the Clerk of the Town of Chelmsford, "Chelmsford, Mass .- Zoning District Map 1956" by removing from General Residence District, the following described premises and amend 1B (6) of said section, by including the following described premises as General Business District: The land in Chelmsford bounded and described as follows: Beginning on the easterly side of Boston Road at the point now zoned for General Business; thence southerly along Boston Road to Summer Street: thence easterly along Summer Street about 400 feet; thence at approximately a right angle southerly about 365 feet; thence approximately at a right angle easterly about 800 feet; thence southerly, at an angle of approx- imately 86°, 380 feet; thence southwesterly, at an angle of approximate- ly 152°, 175 feet; thence easterly, at an angle of approximately 67º, 1,525 feet along an unnamed street to center of Beaver Brook; thence northerly along the center line of Beaver Brook about 390 feet; thence continuing along the center line of Beaver Brook approximately 2,950 feet to the point now zoned for General Business; thence southerly and westerly along the present land zoned for General Business to the point of beginning on Boston Road.
