In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Saugus, qualified to vote at Elections, to meet at the several voting precincts in the Town, on Tuesday, November the fourth, A. D. 1913, at fifteen minutes before six (5.45) o'clock, A. M., then and there to bring their ballots to the Wardens for the fol- lowing State Officers, all on one ballot :
Governor ; Lieutenant-Governor ; Secretary ; Treasurer ; Aud- itor ; Attorney-General; Councillor, Sixth District ; Senator, Seventh Middlesex District ; Two Representatives in the General Court, Fifteenth Essex District ; County Commissioner, Essex ; Associate Commissioners, Essex County ; Register of Probate and Insolvency, Essex County; District Attorney, Eastern District :

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Saugus qualified to vote in Town affairs to meet at the Town Hall on Monday evening, November twenty-fourth, A. D. 1913, at eight o'clock, to hear and act on the following articles, viz :
ARTICLE I. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ART. 2. To hear reports of Committees.
ART. 3. To hear and act on the report of the Committee on water for residents of Baker's Hill.
ART. 4. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of thirty-eight hundred and ninety dollars and forty cents ($3,890.40) to replenish the principal of the Trust Funds for the perpetual care of the lots in Riverside Cemetery, to be taken from the surplus of the Town Treasury, agreeable to the petition of William E. Ludden and others.
ART. 5. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of three hundred and sixty-four dollars and ninety cents ($364.90) to replenish the balance of interest on the Trust Funds for the perpetual care of the lots in Riverside Cemetery, to be taken from the surplus of the Town Treasury, agreeable to the petition of William E. Ludden and others.
ART. 6. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for interest on Temporary Loans, agreeable to the petition of William H. Small and others.
ART. 7. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of sixty dollars ($60) for interest on School Loans, agree- able to the petition of William H. Small and others.

ART. S. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) for the Overseers of the Poor Department, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of George H. Ames and others.
ART. 9. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) for the maintenance of its Water System, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of John H. Parker and others.
ART. 10. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of three hundred and seventy-five dollars ($375) for the Board of Health Department, agreeable to the petition of Tom D. Emmett and others.
ART. II. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of four hundred dollars ($400) for expenses on Tax Titles, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Henry A. Parker and others.
ART. 12. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75) for Filing Cabinet to be used in the Treasurer's office, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of H. Dwight Bisbee and others.
ART. 13. To see if the Town will make an appropriation of sixty dollars ($60) to be expended for salaries of firemen, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Alfred F. Sachsse and others.
ART. 14. To see if the Town will make an appropriation of three hundred dollars ($300) for the use of the Fire Department, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agree- able to the petition of Alfred F. Sachsse and others.

ART. 18. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of one hundred dollars ($100) for outside repairs of school build- ings, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Charles L. Davis and others.
ART. 19. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of two hundred dollars ($200) for inside repairs of school build- ings, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Charles L. Davis and others.
ART. 20. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000) for the maintenance of the pub- lic schools for the remainder of the year, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Charles L. Davis and others.
ART. 21. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of four hundred dollars ($400) to be paid to Ex-Chief of the Fire Department, Clayton W. Rees, for doctor's expenses, etc., for injuries sustained as Chief of the Saugus Fire Department while in discharge of his duties at a fire on Overlea avenue, April 20, 1913, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of George Quarmby and others.
ART. 22. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of five hundred dollars ($500) to pay for the care of certain lots under perpetual care in Riverside Cemetery, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of William H. Small and others.
ART. 23. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for interest on notes, voted under Article 24, agreeable to the petition of William H. Small and others.
ART. 24. To see if the Town will authorize its Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow for general mu- nicipal purposes on account of the several sums appropriated under Articles 6 to 23.

ART. 25. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money in antici- pation of taxes of the municipal year beginning, January 1, 1913, to an amount not exceeding thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) and issue notes of the Town therefor.
And you are hereby directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies at the usual places seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting, and to distribute copies as provided by the By-Laws at least four days before.

ART. 25. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money in antici- pation of taxes of the municipal year beginning January 1, 1913, to an amount not exceeding thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) and issue notes of the Town therefor.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING.
ART. 7. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of sixty dollars ($60) for interest on school loans, agreeable to the petition of William H. Small and others.
Voted, that the sum of sixty dollars ($60) be and hereby is appropriated for interest on School loans.
ART. 8. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) for the Overseers of the Poor Department, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of George H. Ames and others.
Voted, That the sum of eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) be and hereby is appropriated for the Overseers of the Poor Department.
ART. 9. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) for the maintenance of its Water System, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of John H. Parker and others.
Voted, That the sum of $2,000 be and hereby is appropriated for the general maintenance of the Water System ; 78 yeas; 14 nays.
ART. 10. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of three hundred and seventy-five dollars ($375) for the Board of Health Department, agreeable to the petition of Tom D. Emmett and others.
Voted, That the sum of three hundred and seventy-five dollars ($375) be and hereby is appropriated for the Board of Health Department.
ART. II. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of four hundred dollars ($400) for expenses on Tax Titles, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Henry A. Parker and others. .
Voted, That the sum of four hundred dollars ($400) be and hereby is appropriated for expenses on Tax Titles.
ART. 12. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75) for Filing Cabinet to be used in the Treasurer's office, agreeable to the petition of H. Dwight Bisbee and others.

ART. 14. To see if the Town will make an appropriation of $300 for the use of the Fire Department, agreeable to the peti- tion of Alfred F. Sachsse and others.

ART. 15. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of fifty dollars ($50) for care of the Town Hall, or to see what action the Town will take in the matter, agreeable to the petition of Herbert M. Forristall and others.

ART. 16. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of $500 for the Highway Department, agreeable to the petition of Herbert N. Forristall and others.

ART. 17. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of one hundred dollars ($100) to rebuild sidewalk on Ballard street, between Western avenue and Johnson street, agreeable to the petition of Harry Woodward and others.
