AUDITORS' REPORT.

The Auditors for the year of 1910 report that they have examined, in compliance with the Public Statutes, the books and accounts of the Town Treasurer, Treasurer of the Water Loan and Sinking Fund Commissioners, Beals Park Fund, Scaler of Weights and Measures, and Treasurer of the Tufts Library, and find them to be correct.

The accounts and securities of the Trustees of the Fogg Library, James L. Bates Reference Room and Howe Fund, at the Fogg Library, Pratt School Fund, Tufts Lecture Fund, have also been examined and the investments are satisfactory.

We visited the Town Home on the 31st of December, and made the usual inventory. The Home is a model of neatness, and is a credit to the Keeper and Matron and the Town. The members, consisting of nine women and 27 men, are provided with neat pleasant rooms, well heated and well ventilated, a bath room for each sex, and a hospital to be used when there is sick- ness. The barn and other buildings are in good repair and are kept neat and clean.

We find that the registers of the Town Accountant and the Cash Book of the Town Treasurer agree as to the amount of orders paid during the year and the balance of orders unpaid Jan. 1, 1911.
