TO THE TOWN CLERK :
September 10, 1920.
We, the undersigned registered voters of Weymouth represent that we have reason to believe and do believe that the returns of the Primary Election Officers of Weymouth of the votes cast at the Primary Election on September 8, 1920, for County Commissioners are erroneous in this respect: That Evan F. Richardson of Millis was credited with more and Frederick L. Fisher of Norwood with less votes than were cast for them, and we believe a recount of the votes cast in Weymouth will determine beyond any doubt which one of these candidates was nominated at said Primary Election. We therefore ask that the votes cast for said Richardson and said Fisher be recounted.
This petition must be signed in person by Ten registered voters:
(1) Edwin R. Sampson, 19 Church St., North Weymouth.
(2) Walter J. Sladen, 8 Church St., East Weymouth.
(3) John B. Merrill, 521 Commercial St., East Weymouth.
68
(4) George W. Beane, 175 North St., North Weymouth.
(5) Clarance P. Whittle, 115 Front St., Weymouth.
(6) Clifton D. Harlow, 55 Front St., Weymouth.
(7) Russell B. Worster, 66 Commercial St., Weymouth.
(8) Edward A. Hunt, 59 Front St., Weymouth.
(9) Frank W. Stewart, 31 Commercial St., Weymouth.
(10) Charles R. Denbroeder, 748 Broad St., East Weymouth.
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS
September 10, 1920.
Then personally appeared Clarence P. Whittle, one of the above subscribers, and made oath that the above statement by him sub- scribed is true to the best of his knowledge and belief.
JOHN P. HUNT, Justice of Peace.
My commission expires Oct. 3, 1924.
East Weymouth, Sept. 14, 1920.
On a petition duly signed and sworn to by ten legal voters of the town of Weymouth, for a recount of the votes of Frederick L. Fisher and Evan F. Richardson, cast for County Commissioners for the County of Norfolk, in the town of Weymouth, the Board of Registrars of Weymouth met at the Town Office on Tuesday evening, Sept. 14, 1920 at 7 o'clock for the purpose of recounting the ballots cast for the above mentioned candidates, due notice having been given to the above candidates of the time and place of said recount.
September 14, 1920.
This is to certify that Thomas V. Nash will represent me in the recount in your town.
WITNESS : J. R. McCOOLE.
E. F. RICHARDSON.
