Births, Marriages and Deaths Recorded During the Year 1928 BIRTHS
The total number of births recorded during the year of 1928 was 511, males 269, females 242; born in Weymouth 405, born elsewhere 106, born in Weymouth of parents living elsewhere 130; either parent born in Weymouth 177, born elsewhere in the U. S. 654, born in foreign countries 185, unknown 6.
The number of births in each quarter of the year was 134-115- 139-123.
MARRIAGES
The total number of marriages recorded during the year of 1928 was 177, performed in Weymouth 97, performed in other cities in Mass. 73, performed in other states 7; either part born in Weymouth 78, either party born in other cities and towns in the U. S. 206, either party born in foreign countries 70.
The number of marriages in each quarter of the year was 23-56- 54-44.
DEATHS
The total number of deaths recorded during the year of 1928 was 289, males 135, females 154; died in Weymouth 237, died elsewhere in Mass. 51, died in foreign countries 1; 87 of the deceased were born in Weymouth, 130 were born in other cities and towns in the U. S., 70 were born in foreign countries and 2 were born in unknown places; 85 were single, 107 were married, 91 were widowed, 3 were divorced and 3 unknown; the ages of the deceased was as follows: stillbirths 14, under 1 year of age 23, between 1 and 5 years 4, between 5 and 20 years 8, between 20 and 50 years 49, between 50 and 80 years 153, between 80 and 90 years 36, over 90 years 2. Nnumber of deaths in each quarter of the year was 91-74-49-75.
