In conclusion, I desire to record one more change in connection with the school. The familiar form and kindly presence of Mr. Wiley, one who had served the school so long and so faithfully, and who regarded the building almost as a home and each occu- pant as a personal friend, was greatly missed when the school opened in the fall. It was a matter of great regret that in con- sequence of the vacation, the school was unable to render its re- spect to one who was so sincerely its friend.

Allow me, sir, again to thank the Committee and yourself for your hearty co-operation and helpful suggestions in support of the school.

Very respectfully,

C. T. C. WHITCOMB.
