Work was continued under the ERA in Gaffield Park -cutting underbrush and removing stumps. About one thousand spruce and one thousand red pine seedlings, furnished by the State Forestry Department, were plant- ed in the park.
Clearing work also was continued in The George Washington Memorial Forest on Circuit Street, extending over the whole of that lot, and a considerable portion of the lot back of the Central School was also cleared with- out any expense to the town for labor.

Town Forest Committee.
