(1) Voted & Chofe For a Moderator Dea. Nathan Fisk.


(2) Voted & Accepted the Report the Comtee Made that Ware appointed by the Precinct To Make Sale of the Ministeriall Place that the Revd MT Gibbs Livd in and alfo to Purchafe A more Con- venient One in Lew thereof, the sd Comtee Reported as Follow- eth, that thay had Purchafed of Daniel Hastings late of Water- town and of Dea Jofeph Coollidge of Cambridge A Teniment in Watertown afore sd Where Daniel Hastings Lately Dwelt Con- taining about Twenty one Acres of Land with the Buildings thereon, For the Sum of Four Hundred & Fifty Pounds & had Recieved a Deed of sª Daniel Hastings of Two third Parts of sd Place and a Deed of one third Part of sª Place of Dea Jofeph Cool- lidge.


And, that they had Alfo Sold the Ministeriall Place that the Revd M' Gibbs Livd in Excepting the Marfh to Doct" Richard Checkley of Boston for the Sum of Three hundred & Fifty Pounds and had Given him a Deed thereof.


(3) Voted & Allowed the Comtes the Sum of one Pound Five Shillings & Ten Pence for Writings in & about the Purchafing of the New Ministeriall Place.


(4) Put to Vote Whether the Precinct will allow sd Comtee the Sum of Seven Shillings and Six Pence for Writings in the Sale of the Former Ministeriall Place, Past in ye Negative.


(5) Voted & allowed M' William Shattuck the Sum of Fif- teen Shillings for Putting ye Sale of the Former Ministeriall Place into the Publick News Letter Three Times 58 Each Time.


(6) Voted that the Reverd Mr Storer Should have the Pofses- tion of the New Ministeriall Place Lately Bought of M' Daniell Hastings & Dea Jofeph Coollidge Dureing the Time of his Being the Precincts Minister in Lew of the Pofsestion which he had of the Ministeriall Place Lately Sold which he had by agreement at his Settlement.


(7) Voted that the Precinct Will Make A Sutable Adition to the New Ministeriall House.

Viz : That the Frame for the addition to the Ministereall houfe be of the Following Dementions (viz) 25 feet in Length & 24 feet in Wedth the Posts be 16 Feet in Lenth the Chemney to Stand on the West Side of the Building & to have an entry Way of Seven Feet Wide Betwixt the Old Building and the New : for the ac- comodating the Stareway into ye Chamber, And Further it is Propofed that the Roof on the Front of the Old Building be Raifed So as to Conform to the New Building or addition (which will make a Very Hanfom and Commodious Front Both East and South, and Further that the Leantor or Kichen that is to be Raifed be Raifed to Such a heigth as to Conform to the Other Parts of the Building and to accommodate the Chamber Over the Kichen that their be Built a Small Chemney in sd Chamber : and · that the Whole be well Finished in the Moft Prudent Way and Manner With all Speed.

(5) Put to Vote Whether the sd Comtee Shall have A fortnight to Difpofe of the sd Room to Perfons tht the Comtee Shall Think they Belong to under the aforesd Limitations and that if the Per- fons to Whom Pews are offered, Shall not See Caufe to Except of the Same Within a Week after they are Offered that the Comtee Shall Give them to Perfons to Whom they Mextly Belong to and the Vote Pafsed in the Affermative.

(2) Voted that Whereas Jonathan Stone Jun' Edward Har- rington & Oliver Livermore have Bin at Cost and Charge in Lay- ing a Platform for Three Pews in the Meetting houfe in sª Precinct that if the sd Precinct Should Build Pews thereon as a Precinct or that sd Platform Should be Difpofed of to any Other Perfons that they shall have Reafonable Pay for What they have Expended On sª three Pew Lotts.

Put to Vote Whether the Precinct are of the Mind that after the above Said Comtee have Searhed the Lists of Rates aforesd, and Found out thofe Persons Who Are the highest in sª Lists Who According to the Vote of the Precinct are to Draw the Pew Lotts, that if any of sª Perfons Shall not Accept of a Pew Lot that the Comtee Shall then Offer them, that then the Lot or Lotts so Re- fufed, to be Offered by sd Comtee to the Next Highest Perfons Suc- cessively as they Stand in sd Rates ; and that A Plan of the Pew Lotts be Drawn by sd Comtee and that Every Perfon that Accepts of a Pew Lott Shall fet his Name in the Spot he Shall Choofe and that Every Perfon that Accepts of a Pew Lot Shall be Obliged to Build his Pew Within three Months at Furthest from the Date

And that after the Comtee have Compleated the Plan abovesd according to the Votes of the Precinct that Said Plan Be Recorded in the Precinct Book of Records, as a Finall Settlement of sd Pew Lotts ; the Vote Past in the affermative.

(1) For the Precinct to Choofe A Comtee of Five Men & Im- power them to go through with the Service Relating to the Difpo- fall of the Pew Lotts in the meetting houfe in sd Precinct which the Comtee that was Chofen by the Precinct Att their Meetting on the 21st of Aprill Current by adjornment Declined to Perform and go through with.


(2) That Whereas the Precinct at their meetting aforesd Voted that their Comtee Should Scearch the Lists of Rates for Building the Meettinghoufe and that Perfons Should Draw Pews according to wt they have Paid : that the Precinct would manifest w+ Per- ticular Rates they will have their Comtee Scearch for their Rule to Act by, that their by they may Prevent Conterary Opinions in their Comtee And Whereas by sd Vote the Children of Deceafed Fathers were to Draw Pews According to wt their Fatheirs have Paid : that if sd Children Should not agree when a Pew Lot is Offered within a week after sd Offer is made then sª Pew Lot to Return to the Precinct Again for their Comtee to Difpofe of to one of sª Children which they shall Think ought In Justice to have the Same.


(3) For the Precinct to hear Mr Jonathan Stone Jun' Accompt and M' Edward Harringtons and Mr Olliver Livermors for Laying the Platform for Three Pews in the meetting houfe and for the Precinct to Take Care how they shall be Paid and order the Con- stable to Notifie Mr Jonathan Stone Mr Edward Harrington & Mr Olliver Livermore to Bring in there accompts to ye Precinct at sª Meetting.

S' You are Hereby Requiered Forthwith to Warn the Freeholders and Other Inhabitance of the Easterly Precinct in Watertown Who Are Quallified to Vote in Precinct Affairs to Meett at the Publict Meetting houfe in sd Precinct On Monday the 5th Day of May Next at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon of sd Day for the Ends Following.

(2) That Whereas the Precinct Voted At their Meetting afore- sd that their Comtee Should search the Lists of Rates and thofe that stood Highest in sª Lists and had Paid Paid most to the Build- ing the meetting houfe should Draw Pews Successively according to wt they have Paid, that the Precinct may Mennafest w' Pertic- uliar Lists of Rates they would have their Comte Search for their Rule to Act by that thereby they may Prevent Conterary Opinions in their Comtee and whereas by sd Vote the Children of Deceafed Fathers Should Draw Pews According to wt their Fathers have Paid that if sd children should not agree within a Weak after they have the offer of a Pew Lot and Except of the Same yt sd Pew Lot to Return to the Precinct again for their Comtee to Difpofe of it to one of sª Children wh they shall Think ought in Justice to have the same.
