For several generations the Vaughans lived at the North End, Boston, where most, if not all, the births, marriages and deaths took place, that are recorded in this Bible. In 1895, I made the following epitome of these records: By his wife Elizabeth, Samuel Vaughan had children (1) Elizabeth, b. Jan. 4, 1740; (2) Mary, b. Apr. 28, 1741; (3) Abigail, b. May 22, 1743; by his wife Mary, he had children (4) Samuel, b. May 11, 1746; (5) David, b. May 1, 1748; (6) John, b. Dec. 20, 1749; (7) William, b. Jan. 27, 1751; (8) David, b.
