Bowen Buckman, called one of his cousins Bucknam and said they were the same name originally, I send his ancestor's list: Joseph Buckman, born in Wales, settled in Malden; his son Jacob, born in Malden, moved to Leominster and Boston, many years chorister at King's Chapel, and buried in its graveyard, died 1789. Ilis son, Jacob, born in Boston, Ang. 16, 1759, died Feb. 19, 1839, in Woburn; married Elizabeth Monroe. His son, Bowen Buckman, born in Lexington, April 19, 1788, died in Woburn, Nov. 23, 1864; married Eliza Claflin. His children were Eliza and Julia. Bowen was eklest of six sons, four of whom, Willis, Dennis, Ira, William. There was a Jacob Bucknam of Woburn, Revolutionary Army. Captain Ford commander, 1777-78.
