STATE OF MAINE PENOBSCOT SS. To ARTHUR L. TOLMAN, a constable of the town of Newburg in said county, GREETING :


In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town of Newburg, quali- fied by law to vote in town affairs, to assemble at the Town House, in said town of Newburg, on Monday, the fourth day of March, 1912, at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon, to act on the following articles, to wit :


Art. 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.


Art. 2. To choose a Clerk for the ensuing year. Art. 3. To see if the town will vote to accept the reports of the Selectmen, Assessors and Overseers of the Poor, Superintendent of Schools, Treasurer and Town Auditor.


Art. 4. To choose three or more Selectmen, Assessors and Overseers of the Poor for the ensuing year.


Art. 5. To choose one or more Road Commissioners for the ensuing year.


Art. 6. To choose one member of the School Committee for three years.


Art. 7. To choose a Treasurer of the town and all other neces- sary town officers for the ensuing year, except a Collector of Taxes.


Art. 8. To determine what sums of money the town will vote to raise by taxation for the following purposes :


For the support of common schools.


For the support of the poor.


For incidental expenses. For roads and bridges. For repairs on school houses. For school books. For free high school. For abatements.

Art. 9. To choose a collector of taxes.


Art. 10. To see if the town will vote " yes " or " no " upon the adoption of the provisions of chapter 112 of the Public Laws of Maine, for the year 1907, as amended by chapter 69, Public Laws of 1909, also chapter 21, Public Laws of 1911, and chapter 183, Public Laws of 1911, relating to the appropriation of money necessary to entitle the town to State aid for highways for the year 1912.


Art. 11. To see if the town will raise and appropriate in addition to the amounts regularly raised and appropriated for the care of ways, highways and bridges, the sum of $400.00 being the maximum amount which the town is allowed to raise under the provisions of chapter 112 of the Public Laws of Maine for the year 1907, as amended by chapter 69, Public Laws of 1909, also chapter 21, Public Laws of 1911, and chapter 183, Public Laws of 1911.


Art. 12. To see if the town will vote to raise $200.00 to be expended for a continuation of the permanent highway on the South road.


Art. 13. To transact any other business that may legally come before said meeting.

Art. 20 To see if the town will vote to buy a new hearse and raise a sum of money for the same.


Art. 21 To see if the town will vote "yes" or "no" upon the adoption of the provisions of chapter 112 of the Public Laws of Maine for the year 1907, as amended by chapter 69, Public Laws of 1909, also chapter 21, Public Laws of 1911, and chapter 183, Public Laws of 1911, relating to the appropriation of money necessary to entitle the town to state aid for highways for the year 1913.


Art. 22 To see if the town will raise and appropriate in addition to the amounts regularly raised and appropriated for the care of ways, highways and bridges, the sum of 400 being the maximum amount which the town is allowed under the provisions of chapter 112 of the Public Laws of Maine for the year 1907, as amended by chapter 69, Public Laws of 1909, also chapter 21, Public Laws of 1911, and chapter 183, Public Laws of 1911.


Art. 23 To see if the town will vote to raise $200.00 to be expended for permanent highway on South Road by C. A. Newcomb's.


Art. 24 To see if the town will vote to raise $200.00 to be expended for permanent improvements on Boyington Road.


Art. 25 To see if the town will vote to authorize selectmen to make a temporary loan in anticipation of taxes for 1913.
