We ought to appropriate $200 for the high school this year.

As a town maintaining a class C high school is not obliged to furnish an apparatus for laboratory work, the money raised for that purpose has been used to purchase needed books, for the school.

In conclusion we wish to say that if our efforts to make our schools a success have not always met your approval, wherever we have failed we ask pardon for our failure, and close with a strong appeal to you to look after the interest of our schools for upon them rests the future of our town, state and nation. For the support of the S. S. Committee and the unfailing courtesy of the citizens, I am deeply grateful and extend my thanks to all.
