GENTLEMEN :
I have audited the accounts of the Selectmen and Treasurer of the Town of Newburg for the fiscal year, ending February 17,1914.
The books of the town have been kept in a neat and sys- tematic manner, and the financial standing of the town as shown by the Selectmen and Treasurer in their reports, is a correct transcript from the town's books.

This year the High School is under the instruction of Mr. W H. Edminister of Dixmont. This is Mr. Edminister's first effort at teaching but he has proved himself well adapted to his work.
There has been an average attendance of about eighteen pupils so far this year.
We think the work done in our common schools will com- pare well with that done in the schools of other towns.
I wish to thank teachers and pupils for their kindness and attention for the past year.

To Frank B. Morrell, a constable of the town of Newburg in said County,
Greeting:
In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town of Newburg, qualified by law to vote in town affairs, to assemble at the Town House in said town of Newburg, on Monday, the eighth day of March, 1915, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, to act on the following articles, to wit:
Art. 1. To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting.
Art. 2. To choose a clerk for the ensuing year.
Art. 3. To hear the report of town officers and act thereon.
/Art. 4. To choose selectmen, assessors and overseers of the poor for the ensuing year.
Art. 5. To choose one member of the school committee for three years.
Art. 6. To choose a town treasurer for the ensuing year.
Art. 7. To choose a collector of taxes, and agree what per cent to pay him for collecting the same, and fix date of settlement.
Art. 8. To choose a town auditor and fire warden and all other necessary town officers for the ensuing year.
Art .. 9. To raise money for the support of conimon schools.
Art. 10. To raise money for the support of the poor.

Art. 11. To raise money for incidental expenses.
Art. 12. To raise money for roads and bridges.
Art. 13. To raise money for repairs on school houses.
Art. 14. To raise money for school books.
Art. 15. To raise money to pay tuition of pupils attending high schools.
Art. 16. To raise money for abatements.
Art. 17. To see if the town will vote "yes" or "no" on the ques- tion of appropriating and raising money necessary to entitle the town to State aid as provided in section 20 of chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
Art. 18. To see if the town will appropriate and raise the sum of $533.00 for the improvement of the sections of State aid road as out- lined in the report of the State highway commission, in addition to the amounts regularly raise for the care of ways, highways and bridges; the above amount being the maximum amount which the town is allowed to raise under the provisions of section 19 of chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
- Art. 19. To see if the town will vote to raise $467,00 in addition - -
to the $533.00 raised under Art. 18, under the provisions of section 22 of chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
Art. 20. To see whether the town will vote to raise money and what sum, for the maintenance of State aid highways during the ensu- ing year, within the limits of the town, under the provisions of sec- tion 9 of chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
Art. 21. To see if the town will vote to raise $100.00 for the main- tenance of permanent highway, North road. -
Art. 22. To see if the town will accept the jury list.
Art. 23. To see if the town will vote to take action on the collec- tion of dog tax, viz: All owners of dogs who fail to pay their dog tax to town clerk after May 1, 1915 shall pay to the collector the fee of twenty-five cents for collecting said tax.

Art. 24. To see if the town will vote to accept $100.00 to be known as the John Stevenson Trust Fund, the income to be used for the perpetual care of the Stevenson lot in Chapman cemetery.
