Three weekly news- papers, the Index, the Norman County Herald and the Norman County Post are published. Has graded public and high school, the latter having an in- dustrial and agricultural department in connection, established under the Putnam act. Ships grain, live stock, flour, feed, seeds, produce, dairy prod-
