Warrant for Town Meeting


The State of New Hampshire


L.S.


To the inhabitants of the Town of Tamworth, in the County of Carroll, in said State, quali- fied to vote in Town Affairs:


You are hereby notified to meet at the Town House, in said town, on Tuesday, the Fourteenth day of March next, at ten of the clock in the forenoon, to act upon the following subjects:


To choose all necessary Town Officers for the year I ensuing.


2 To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray town charges for the ensuing year, and make appropriation of the same.


3 To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise for repairing highways for the ensuing year, and make appropriation of the same.


4 To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise for repairing and building bridges for the ensuing year, and make appropriation of the same.


5 To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise in addition to the amount required by law for the support of the Town Library.


6 To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate for decorating soldiers' graves.


7 To see if the town will vote to accept State Aid as provided for in Section 4 of Chapter 35, Laws of 1905.


8 To see if the town will vote to discontinue the highway, starting from William James' stone watering trough and going in a northerly direction a distance of ninety-four rods, after the completion and acceptance of new "James Road," so called.

9 To vote on the following petition: "To the select- men of the town of Tamworth: The undersigned, legal voters in said town, request you to insert in the warrant for the next meeting of the inhabitants of said town, the following article: To see if the town will vote to authorize the selectmen to put in condition and rent the Town Hall. Dated at said Tamworth, this - day of February, 1911. Daniel B. Alley, C. F. Bodge, F. H. Carle, M. S. Ross, R. E. Arling, E. F. Currier, L. C. Smith, J. B. Bickford, F. J. Bickford, I. C. Cole."
