THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE


To the inhabitants of the Town of Tamworth in the County of Carroll in said State, qualified to vote in Town Affairs :


You are hereby notified to meet at the Town Hall in said Tamworth on Tuesday, the fourteenth day of March next, at nine of the clock in the forenoon, to act upon the following subjects :


1. To elect a selectman for a term of three years, and to choose all necessary Town Officers for the year ensuing.


2. To raise such sums of money as may be neces- sary to defray town charges for the ensuing year and make appropriation of the same.


3. To see if the town will vote to accept State Aid for highways.


4. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for continuation of construc- tion of the highway leading from Tamworth Village to West Ossipee.


5. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise for repairing highways and breaking snow for the ensuing year and make appropriations for the same.


6. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for repairing snow rollers.


7. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate for repairing and building bridges for the ensuing year.


8. To see if the town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $3,000 for maintenance of trunk lines.

9. To see if the town will vote to discontinue the old road leading from the Addison Osgood Place so- called to the Junction of the Highway leading from Hackett Hill so-called to Butler's Bridge so-called.


10. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate for Memorial Day ob- servance.


11. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise in addition to amount required by law for support of the Town Library.


12. To see if the town will vote to observe Old Home Day and appropriate money for the same.


13. To see if the town will vote to appropriate money for a Winter Carnival.


14. To see if the town will vote to replace the monument upon the Ordination Rock so-called and ap- propriate money for the same.


15. To see if the town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to hire money in anticipation of taxes.


16. To see if the town will vote to discontinue a short piece of road (about 400 ft.) leading from land of J. S. Runnells past driveway leading to resi- dence of Dr. F. G. Balch, and accept piece of new road, leading from drive-way of C. H. Maynadier to a cer- tain point on above mentioned highway.


17. To transact any other business that may le- gally come before said meeting.
