Pay Roll of Capt Josiah Browns Company in Colo Enoch Hales Regiment of Militia which Company marched from New Ipswich June 29th 1777 to reinforce the Garrison at Ticonderoga and proceeded as far as Number four where they were Ordered back by an express from Colo Bellows & returned to Rindge July 3ª. On the fourth received Orders again to March forward & went to Rutland where they met Our Army On their Retreat Note-30 of the Comy had Horses-
