. . . 46TH YEAR .
[Every Evening Except Sunday.]
THE TIMES-UNION is Independent, Fearless, Honest, Clean, and prints all the news every day, giving six or more pages as the pressure on its columns may require.
It is read every afternoon in every town and hamlet within a radius of one hundred miles out from Albany by the thrifty people who dwell therein. Four editions daily ; the first for more distant places goes out by early p. m. trains, the others by later trains.
Little advertisements of Agents Wanted, Personals, For Sale, To Rent, Lost, Found, Boarders, For Exchange, etc., etc., cost only ONE CENT A WORD for each insertion in THE TIMES UNION. No ad= vertisement for less than fifteen cents, even if it contains only five words.
All little advertisements are cash (or stamps) with order. They are too numerous to keep ledger accounts of them.
A certain class of advertising is refused admission to its columns for the reason that it is a favorite Family Newspaper.
