1768, May 23. Minute of the Rev. Consistory of New Paltz.
After calling upon God's name, the annual change of the Consistory in accordance with the laws of the Church took place, and it was resolved to add to the partial Consistory which had been elected last year, another Elder and Deacon, for the purpose of thus forming a complete Consistory, and subsequently, under God's blessing, to elect annually.

I. Elected Dirk Rosa, besides their preacher, to attend the next special meeting, which is to convene the fourth Tuesday in May, 1775, at Poughkeepsie.

2. Concerning Easter and Pentecost Monday, it was resolved to have services on that day, at the place where services were held the previous Sunday.
3. Ascension Day shall count as a turn.
4. Concerning Christmas and New Year's Day, if that day falls on Saturday, the service shall be held at the place whose turn comes the following Sunday. If on Monday, the service shall take place where service was held on the previous Sun- day, but on other days it shall count as a turn.
