BROOKLYN DIRECTORY ADVERTISER.

WILLIAM H. SMITH,

PUBLISHER OF THE

BROOKLYN CITY DIRECTORY, AND

BROOKLYN CITY AND KINGS COUNTY RECORD,

Room 6 Montague Hall, Court Street,

City Hall Square, BROOKLYN.

The " RECORD " is a new publication just issued. It is made up principally of statistical matter concerning the various societies, institutions and associations, secular, religious, literary, benevolent, and mutual benefit in the City of Brooklyn, and King's County,-being a Budget of information, for all classes. The following is the opinion of the Brooklyn Press concerning it.

THE BROOKLYN CITY AND KINGS COUNTY RECORD .- This is the title of a work just issued by W. H. SMITH, the Publisher of the City Directory, and it is one which should be in the counting room and office of every business man in town. It contains a complete list of all the Public Insti- tutions, Corporations, Societies, &c., and the various Officials, Lawyers, Clergymen, and everything else in the least having a public character in the City. We know of no more useful publication that has issued from the local press for many a day .- Daily Independent Press, June 18th.

THE BROOKLYN CITY AND KINGS COUNTY RECORD. - This is the title of a work just published by WM. H. SMITH, Publisher of Smith's Brooklyn Directory. It contains much information of value, and as a book of reference, is invaluable, and should be possessed by every one .- Brooklyn Evening Star, June 18th.

THE BROOKLYN CITY AND KINGS COUNTY RECORD-A budget of General Information, with a Map of the City, an Almanac and an Appendix, containing the new City Charter. This elaborate title explains the nature of the work. So far as we can judge from a hasty glance at the volume, the projector, Mr. SMITH, of the Directory, has performed his task well. The book contains a mass of local, statistical information, which everybody should at once have on hand .- Brooklyn Daily Eagle, June 20th.

THE CONSOLIDATED CITY HALF BOUND .- One of the completest and least bulky books of refer- ence that we know of is "The Brooklyn City and Kings County Record," published by WM. H. SMITH, of the City Directory. Here is a Budget of General Information, containing the names of all the Lawyers, Commissioners of Deeds, full information in relation to all the Corporations, Societies, &c., with a Map of the City, .an Almanac, and an Appendix containing the City Charter. The RECORD will prove a most valuable auxiliary to business men, opening up sources of informa- tion to arrive at a knowledge of which, otherwise, might put them to much inconvenience and vexatious inquiry. Let every citizen possess himself of a copy of this work .- Brooklyn Daily Times, June 21st.

THE BROOKLYN CITY AND KINGS COUNTY RECORD is emphatically what it proposes to be : " A Budget of General Information," and which ought to be in the hands of every business man in' the City. This work has been issued by Mr. W. H. SMITH, and is, to the business community, intrinsically worth more than double its publication price. Take a look at it, and you will be sure to buy one for your own accommodation, convenience and information -Union Ark (Illustrated) June.

THE BROOKLYN CITY AND KINGS COUNTY RECORD : WM. H. SMITH, Publisher, Montague Hall .- This is a work of local interest, which is presented for the patronage of the "Third City of the Union."
