Passengers, on arrival at Stonington, proceed immediately per Railroad to Providence and Boston in the Express Mail Train, reaching said places several hours in advance of those by other routes, and in ample time for all the early Morning Lines connecting North and East. Passengers that prefer it, remain on board the Steamer, enjoying ? night's rest undisturbed, breakfast, if desired, and leave Stonington in the 7.00 A. M. Train, connecting at Provi dence with the 11.30 A. M. Train for Boston.


A Buggage Master accompanies the Steamer and Train through each way. All Luggage Checked.


This Line carries the UNITED STATES MAIL, and is the SHORTEST, SUREST, and SWIFTEST ROUTE between the Cities of NEW YORK AND BOSTON. The Steamers are of the First Class for Size, Strength, and Speed, and were built for the navigation of Long Island Sound; they are fitted up without regard to expense, and possess every comfort and luxury, while the security and safety of passengers 'have been particularly provided for The Officers are experienced and attentive.

The Steamers contain a large number of Spacious and Elegantly Furnished Rooms for the accommodation of Families or Single Passengers, which may be secured for the day, on board the Boat, or in advance, at the Office, No. 10 Battery Place.

The arrangements for the transportation of all descriptions of Merchandise are so complete, that it is delivered in Providence, Boston, and other places, SEVERAL HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ALL OTHER LINES, by the Special Express Freight Train, leaving Stonington every morning, except Sunday, immediately after the depart- ure of the Mail Train.

Fees for Inward Pilotage .- For everyvessel draw- ing less than 14 feet of water, per foot, $2 44; 14 feet and less than 1S feet, $3" 06; 18 feet and less than 21 feet, $3 69 : 21 feet and upwards, $+ 31 per foot ; for every armed vessel, $5. If boarded out of sight of Sandy Hook light-house, one-fourth of the above rates are added. From Nov. 1st to April 1st, four dollars are added to the full pilot- age of every vessel.


For Outward Pilotage .- For every vessel drawing less than 14 feet of water, per foot, $1 $1; 14 feet and less than 1S feet. 82 12} ; 1S feet and less than 21 feet. $2 75 . 21 feet and upwards, $3 1St per foot : for every day's detention, $3.


For Transportation from North to East River. and, vice versa .- A 14 gun ship, $20 : a frigate, $15 : a sloop of war, $1 ; all merchant vessels. $5. From Quarantine, one quarter of the inward pilot- age. exclusive of the off shore. Hauling into the river from the wharf. §3.
