The Petition of Arnoldus Delagrange was Read, Requesting ye Paym' of what was Owing to him by Chris. Taylor, Deceased, ac- cording to a promise made by this board 11th 24 month last past. Refered to Tho. Hooton, who is desired to administer upon ye Estate.
The Petition of Maj' Wm. Dyer was Read, setting forth his sevear usage by an Illegall proceeding ag' him at New Castle, in attachment of his Goods, & desiring Reliefe from this board.

Markham, with ye As- sistance of ye Survey" Gen" and his Deputy, to make use of y= most speedy and Succesfull Methods for ye running ye same.
The Petition of John Ithell was Read, setting forth that Rob' Turner had Nine Small baggs of peices of Eight of Win. Steets of Cork, in ye Kingdome of Ireland, part of wch ye said Robert Turner hath de- livered, and desires to be acquitted of ye Residue, therfore prays it might Lodg in ye hand of Humphrey Morrey or John Bristow, or who ye Councill shall appoynt.

The Petition of Maj' Wm. Dyer that was Read ye last sitting of the Councill was againe Read. .
The Clark of New Castle County being present, and Informing ye Councill of ye favourable proceedure of ye County Court upon ye At- tachement of ye Goods of Maj' Wm. Dyer, at ye sute of Mathias Van- derhayden, in not granting Judgment, notwithstanding y Petitioner's promise of appearance ye second Court after ye proces served, and they being now better satisfyed of his Estate and Residence in this Governm', Wee doubt not but upon his application to them he will finde Speedy and Easey Redress.
Vpon the Application of Thomas Hooton, who was desired ye last sitting of Councill to prove ye Will & administer upon ye Estate of Chris. Taylor, he accepted ye same, upon this Request, that he might not be Continued Longer by the Councill then he would well dis- charge ye same, the wch ye Councill Granted.
Sam" Carpenter was Returned to this board to serve as a member of Prov" Councill ye Remaining part of ye time James Claypoole was to serve.
Part of a Scurrilous Invective Libel against Rob Turner, a worthy member of this board, & formerly one of ye Judges for this Province and Territorys, wch very abusively reflected upon him in ye Execu- tion of that Office, in such matter as to our Certaine Knowledge is most abominably false and untrue, was Read ;
Wherupon it was unanimously agreed by all ye members present, that all Convenient Speedy Course shall be taken for ye Discovering of ye forgers, or first Contrivers, as well as ye Publishers of ye same, that they may be brought to Condigne punishment.

The Deposition of James Read, taken before Cornelius Empson, justice of ye Peace, (wth* witnesseth y' Thomas Woolaston tendered pay to John Gramton, according to ye Judge's Decretall Order,) was Read.
A Certificate was Read, signed by John Richardson, Hen. Hol- lingsworth & David Richardson, Certifying y' ye said Woollaston had at fernhook two Cows, one Bull, one horse, Bridle and Saddle, valued by them at Eighteen pounds, weh was tendered for ye satisficing of John Gramton, according to ye Prov" Judge's Decree. The Judge's Decree aforesaid was Read.
The whole Matter in Difference between Thom. Woollaston and Jno. Granton, as a fore said, is by Ord' of this board Referred to ye Determination of the Judges at ye next Prov" Court, and notice to be sent to John Granton to appear there.
