The Six Principle Baptist Church of North Kingstown.
NOTE-The history of this cbnreb, according to Elder Richard Knight's history of tbe Baptists, dates with Roger Williams, and there has been a small gathering of Baptists of this order since 1660. The ministers have been men who lived in the vicinity and the pastorate extended tbe length of the life. The last pastor, Elder Jobn Slocum, filled the pastorate about 60 years. E.
K It would bave been very interesting to have procured a list of the members of a church carrying so long a period of existence, but the following is all we were able to procure and here submit it in all its meagreness.
