Waco is indeed a city of churches and schools, every denomination is represent- ed by handsome edifices and able pastors. One of the finest denominational univer- sities in the entire Southland is located in Waco, known as the Baylor I'niver- slty. Baylor and Waco, Waco and Bay- lor, are two names that have stood side by side for over a quarter of a century. Not only of Baylor is this true, but it is true of the other educational institutions located here, such as St. Basil's College (a Catholic school for hoys): the Acade- my of the Sacred Heart (a Catholic schools for girls) : Hill's Practical Busi- ness College and Toby's Practical Busi- ness, as well as a score of smaller ones. Waco has two colleges for negro Youths of Texas. One, the Paul Quinn College, is supported by the Methodist denomination: the other. Central Texas College, derives its support from the

The Sion over your door

IT is a good thing, isn't it? You would not think of doing business without it.

But it is only seen by those who pass your way.

The City Directory is where many people look when they want to find you. You should make it easy for them to find you by putting in the directory such infor- mation as a buyer wants to know. Index your business under all classifications where a customer might look for you.

To be properly registered costs less than to be left out. Send for the City Directory Advertising Man and let him explain this to you in detail.
