As annually returned, by law, with the rate per child and amounts received from the State School Fund, during the years that this Directory has been published.


This State, since July 29, 1878, has allowed $1.50 from the State Treasury to the Towns, towards the education of each child enumerated between the ages of 4 and 16 years, in addition to the dividends from the School Fund of the State.
