FACULTY .- In organizing the Faculty of Highland Park Normal College, great care was used in selecting the teachers. "Every teacher selected was chosen because of his ability to teach. The success of the school during the present year has demonstrated that no mistake was made in the selection of teachers. Students have been delighted with their work, and visitors have found that the work in all departments was the very best. Students who attend school here have the advantage of being instructed in every class by men thoroughly competent in every particular. 1
"~ ACCOMMODATIONS .- The accommodations at Highland Park Normal College are not equaled by any other school in the West. The College Building Itself is provided with large, light, afry fecitation rooms that are models of neatness and taste. The rooms for students are all that could be desired. They are large, light, airy, heated by steam, lighted by electricity, water on every floor of the buildings and every convenience that the student needs. "Everything is new, clean and neat. Every one who has visited the school is willing to agree that our accommodations are not equaled by any other school in ho State.
EQUIPMENTS .- The equipments are all that any school could ask. In the line of Mathematics we have everything that is needed to illustrate the work, from the lowest work in arithmetic to an extens- ive Engineering course. We have a fully equipped Electrical Engineering school, and a special electric- inn in charge. The Pharmacy school is as complete as there is in the West. In the work of Chemistry Philosophy and Natural History, everything is provided that is needed to illustrate these subjects. Students can not afford to attend institutions that are not well equipped in these lines.
LIBRARY .- The large library and book room furnishes, every convenience in the way of room for the accommodation of students. Besides the Encyclopedias and reference books and papers and period- icals which are in the reading room, we have a book room containing 4,000 volumes of History, Science and standard books of the day. These have been thoroughly catalogued by Mrs. S. B. Maxwell, the State Librarian, and is in charge of a competent librarian, who gives her entire time to the interest of the library and the students. This is an important feature in school work:
