IOWA STATE AND COUNTY DIRECTORY FOR 1891:92.

The acknowledged need of a complete and reliable State Business Directory, and the ne- jeessity for a State Directory of the Farmers, induced the proprietors of the Dubuque Tele- graph to undertake, a few months since, the task of securing the necessary information for the above named work, for publication.

There had been organized in Des Moines also, a company known as the IOWA DIRECTORY COMPANY, whose object was the publication of State, County and City Directories; and the purpose of the two being so nearly identical, a consolidation has recently been effect- ed whereby the two companies have become one, and will thus compile and publish the IOWA STATE AND COUNTY DIRECTORY. This publication will be a highly valuable work containing not only the names of the business firms of our State classified and arranged alphabetically by counties and towns, but it will contain the names of the farmers of Iowal, by counties, giving their post office address.
