MUSICAL ORGANIZATIONS.


The Iowa State Band-was organized in the spring of 1890 with a cash capital of $10,000. Their instruments are silver plated, and of the most celebrated make in the world. They have given thousands of | concerts all over the north west, de- lighting all who have heard thein play. The Iowa State Band has become a household word in Des Moines.
