Was in the battles of Okolona, Brice's Cross Roads, Port Gibson, Grand Gulf, Hatchie River, Hurricane Creek, College Hill, Miss., Independence and Big Blue River, Mo., Mine Creek and Little Osage River, Kan. Mustered out as Sergeant September 1, 1864. Served 25 months.


YOUNG, ROBERT A .- Born in Virginia in 1842. Enlisted in Company G, 139th Indiana Infantry May 1, 1864. Mustered out in September, 1864; re-enlisted in Company H, 147th Indiana Infantry, February, 1865, and mustered out August 4, 1865. Served II months.


YOST, ALBERT N .- Born in Virginia in 1836. Enlisted in Company B, 8th Indiana Infantry, April 17, 1861. Mustered out August 6, 1861; re- enlisted in Company G, 84th Indiana Infantry, Sept., 1862, as Corporal. Transferred as Ist Sergeant to Company K, 57th Indiana Infantry, June 14, 1864. Was in the battles of Rich Mountain, siege of Atlanta, Chica- mauga, Dallas, Franklin, Tunnel Hill, Kennesaw, Kingston, Lovejoy's Station, Nashville, Pine Mountain, Resacca, Rocky Face and Triune. Mustered out October 23, 1865. Served 39 months.


GEORGE W. RADER,


For whom this Post was named, was born near Middletown, August 17, 1840. Enlisted in Company E, Sth Indiana Infantry, August 14, 1861, and upon its organization was appointed Sergeant. Served in all the cam- paigns and battles of the regiment up to and including the assault on Vicksburg, May 22, 1863, in which he lost a leg, and died from the effects of his wound May 27. He was buried on the field, and it is supposed that his remains now rest in the National Cemetery there. His age was 22 years, 9 months and 10 days.

In whose memory this Camp was named, was born near Honey Creek. Henry county. Indiana, February 12, 1839. Enlisted in Company B, Sth Indiana Infantry, April 17, 1861, and served with the regiment during its

three months' service in West Virginia, participating in the battle of Rich Mountain. Was mustered out August 6, 1861 .. Re-enlisted in Company E, Sth Infantry, March IS, 1862, and served with the regiment in its cam- paigns and battles up to the 6th of June, IS63, when he was killed at Vicksburg. His remains, it is presumed, are buried in the National Cem- etery near that city. His age was 24 years, 3 months and 24 days.
