ANNUAL TOWN MEETING.
A meeting, duly warned, of the inhabitants of West Bridgewater qualified to vote in elections and on town affairs, was held in the Town Hall in said town, on Monday, March 1, 1915, at 5.45 o'clock in the forenoon, and the following is a record of said meeting, viz .:-
William A. Hambly, Albert C. Snow, Daniel T. Sullivan, Thomas Luddy, Warren C. Kinney, Charles H. Egan, Ches- ter Thayer, and Ellis S. LeLacheur were sworn to a faithful performance of their duties as election officers by the Town Clerk.
Chose Howard B. Wilbur, Moderator.
Voted, -To close the polls at 4 o'clock.
Voted, -That the polls be kept open until 4.30 o'clock. Total vote, 273: 272 male and 1 woman.
The ballots for town officers having been sorted, counted and declaration thereof made, showed the election of the following named persons :-

Voted, -That Miss Elizabeth Kingman, having resigned as one of the Trustees of the Public Library after more than thirty-five years' service, be made an Honorary Trustee, in accordance with established precedents.
Voted, -That the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the finan- cial year beginning January 1st, 1915, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year; any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid for from the revenue of said financial year.

Voted, -To authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to purchase a motor Fire Truck, and to give the notes of the town therefor, said notes to be paid $1,000.00 each year for three years. The vote was, Yes 154; No 2.
Voted, -That the Selectmen and the Chief of Fire De- partment be the committee to purchase the truck.
Voted, -To raise and appropriate the sum of $631.33 to pay property owners' liability for work of suppression of Gypsy and Brown Tail Moths.
Voted, -To raise and appropriate the sum of $50.00 to fence in the Sunset Avenue School lot.
Voted,-To raise and appropriate the sum of $200.00 for a drinking fountain for both men and beasts, to be placed at the Centre. The said sum to be spent under the direction of the Board of Water Commissioners.
Voted, -To pass article 13.
Voted, -That the sum of $3000 be, and hereby is appro-

priated for the purpose of a water supply in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 133 of the Acts of 1913, entitled, "An Act to authorize the Town of West Bridgewater to make an additional Water Loan," and for construction of the same upon Walnut Street or upon any other streets or ways in said town to or upon which in the discretion of the Board of Water Commissioners it may seem expedient or desirable to extend such water supply, and that said amount be raised by a bond issue. The vote was, Yes, 39.
Voted, -To pass Article 15.
Voted, -To pass Article 16.
Voted, -That the sum of $4000 be and hereby is appro- priated for a water supply on East and Wall streets and upon any other streets or way. The vote, Yes, 37.
Voted, -To take up Article 15.
Voted, -That the sum of $3000 be and hereby is appro- priated for a water supply upon any streets or ways in town to or upon which the Board of Water Commissioners may deem it expedient or desirable to extend such water supply. The vote was, Yes, 19.
Voted, -That the Board of Water Commissioners be authorized to make such arrangements and to enter upon such contract or contracts as may be necessary or expedient for the purposes mentioned in Articles 14, 15 and 17.
Voted, - That the bonds aggregating $10,000 voted under Articles 14, 15 and 17 of the warrant for this meeting, be consolidated into one issue consisting of twenty-five bonds of $400 each, dated April 1st, 1915, payable one on April 1st, of each of the years 1916 to 1940 inclusive, denominated on their face "The Town of West Bridgewater Loan, Act of 1913," shall be signed by the Town Treasurer and counter- signed by the Water Commissioners, shall bear interest at a rate not exceeding four and one-half per cent. and payable

semi-annually, and shall bear the authenticating certificate of the First National Bank of Boston. All other particulars as to the form, issuance and sale of said bonds shall be deter- mined by the Town Treasurer.
Voted, -That the Board of Water Commissioners be in- structed to petition the General Court to amend Section 1, of Chapter 133 of the Acts of the Legislature for 1913, by strik- ing out the word "twenty-five" in lines 6 and 7 and insert- ing in place thereof the word "fifty."
Voted,-That the Road Commissioner be instructed to move the waiting station from its present location on North Elm Street, to its original location on Grant Street.
Voted, -To pay the Moderator $15 for his services at this meeting.
Voted, -That the several sums raised and appropriated be assessed on the polls and estates of the town.
Voted, -To dissolve the meeting.
SPECIAL MEETING, MARCH 29, 1915.
Chose Howard B. Wilbur, Moderator.
There were over 50 legal voters present when the follow- ing votes were passed.
Voted, -To reconsider the vote passed at the annual town meeting, whereby it was voted to purchase a motor fire truck.
Voted, -To purchase a fire truck for three thousand dollars.
Voted, -To appropriate the sum of three thousand dol- lars to purchase a motor fire truck, to pay one thousand dollars

of said sum from the current tax levy and to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow the remaining two thousand dollars and give the notes of the town therefor, said notes to be for one thousand dollars each, one payable December 1, 1916, and the other one December 1, 1917; other terms and details of the loan to be at the discre- tion of the Selectmen and Treasurer.
Voted, -That the Selectmen and the Chief of the Fire Department be the committee to purchase the new fire truck.
Voted, -To dissolve the meeting.
