Voted, -To raise and appropriate the sum of $507.66 to pay property owners' liability for work of suppressing gypsy and brown tail moths.


Voted, -That the sum of $10,000.00 be, and hereby is appropriated for the purpose of a water supply in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 133 of the Acts of 1913, en- titled, "An Act to authorize the Town of West Bridgewater to make an additional Water Loan," as amended by Chapter 275 of the Acts of 1915 and for construction of the same upon any streets or ways in said town to or upon which in the discretion of the Board of Water Commissioners it may seem expedient or desirable to extend such water supply, and that said amount be raised by a bond issue. The vote was, Yes 47; No 14.


Voted,-That the Board of Water Commissioners make all necessary arrangements for the purpose mentioned in Article 9.


Voted,-That the Overseers of the Poor be authorized to take such action as to the management, leasing or renting of the Town Farm and buildings as to them seems best, for a term not exceeding three years.


Voted,-That the sum of $1,000.00 be raised and appro- priated for a Town Vault.


Voted, -That the Overseers of the Poor be authorized to sell the pine and all other timber and wood upon the Alms- house property to such extent as to them seems best. '


Voted,-That the Town accept a lease of the "Drury Field," from the Trustees of the Howard Fund in West

Bridgewater, for a term not exceeding twenty-five years at a rate of one dollar a year; that the Selectmen be authorized, empowered and directed to execute the lease in behalf of the Town of West Bridgewater; that a joint committee composed of the Selectmen and the Water Commissioners have charge of making the field into a suitable playground for the inhabi- tants of West Bridgewater, and have supervision of it; and that the sum of $500.00 be and hereby is appropriated for the work, including the cost, if any, for such legal advice and proceedings as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this vote.


Voted,-That the sum of $200.00 be raised and appro- priated for Band Concerts.


Voted,-That the Chief of the Fire Department in con- junction with the Selectmen be authorized to get in touch with the original donors of the Hook and Ladder Truck at Cocheset and see what arrangements can be made with them for the turning over the Truck to the Town to be used for fire purposes.


SPECIAL MEETING, APRIL 17, 1916.

Voted, -That the sum of $400.00 be raised and appro- priated to construct a highway over Thayer Avenue, so called, and that any unexpended balance be applied to the general highway fund.
