SPRINGFIELD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Springfield Chamber of Commerce with a membership of 3,000 ranks with the principal commercial organizations in the United States. It has a national reputation, and is the only Chamber of Commerce which has acted upon all of U. S. Chamber of Commerce referenda. The exe- cutive staff is composed of a General Secretary and three associate general secretaries and a clerical staff of ten persons. Its activities include a well organized live Convention Bureau, Credit Reporting Bureau, Industrial Department and an active Retail Merchants' Association. It is located in the Myrick Building, where quarters are maintained on one third of the main floor and where a permanent exhibition of a number of Spring- field's manufacturing industries may be seen.
