In Memoriam

Copy of the proposed resolution upon the death of George Anderson to be presented at the Annual Town Meeting of 1941.

Resolved :

That the Voters of Milford in Annual Meeting assem- bled have learned with deep regret and profound sorrow of the death of George Anderson, October 21, 1940, a Town Meeting Member from Precinct 5, and a janitor in the Milford School Department for 21 years.

A kindly and considerate man, he earned the respect and confidence of the teachers and children with whom he was associated.

As a Town Meeting Member he was keenly interested in all matters coming before that body, and was a regular attendant at all meetings.

Resolved :

That as a further mark of respect, business of the meeting be suspended and the voters stand with bowed heads as a silent tribute to his memory.

Resolved :

That the Clerk be instructed to send a copy of these resolutions to the relatives of the deceased.

B. J. CLANCEY, J. FRANK CAHILL, CHARLES F. DARNEY, WILLIAM H. LEONARD, BERNARD M. MANION.

Committee appointed by the Moderator at a Special Town Meeting, October 28, 1940.
