During the week of June 11th my program of spraying for Poison Ivy was done.

During the month of July, I supervised the program for spray- ing to control the mosquito that was sponsored by the Board of Health as a result of the complaints received by the Town.

During the year all the outlying roads of the Town were cleared of brush.

In closing I wish to thank all the various departments of the Town for their cooperation during the year 1959.

Respectfully submitted,

MATTHEW P. ANDREANO

Report of Sealer of Weights ad Measures

To the Honorable Board of Selectmen:

I submit my report as Sealer of Weights and Measures for the year ending December 31, 1959.

I notified in compliance with the provisions of Section 41, Chapter 98 of the General Laws of Massachusetts, as amended, giving notice to all persons, that all scales, and measuring devices, for the purpose of buying and selling goods, wares, and merchan- dise, to be brought in, and these devices be tested, adjusted, and sealed. I then inspected all places of business in the Town of Milford.

In general the repackaging of foodstuffs were satisfactory. In checking 1425 packages of meat, vegetables, milk, butter, and sundry foods I found 1001 packages correct, 240 overweight, and 184 underweight.
