To either of the Constables of the Town of Lincoln in said County: GREETING:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify the legal voters of said Town of Lincoln, qualified to vote in Town Meeting, for the transaction of Town affairs, to meet in the Town Hall in said Lincoln on Monday, the first day of March next at 7.30 o'clock P.M., then and there to act on the following Articles, except Article 1, and also to meet in said Town Hall on Saturday, the sixth day of March next, at 12 o'clock Noon, then and there to act on the following Article 1, by posting a copy of this Warrant, by you attested in each of the Post Offices, and in some other public place in said Town seven days at least before the first day of March next: The polls for voting the Australian ballot on Saturday March sixth, will be open at 12 o'clock Noon, and may be closed at 7 o'clock P.M.

Seeger, he having entered the U. S. Army. Present, Sumner Smith, Herbert G. Farrar, Donald P. Donaldson, Warwick V. Harris and William H. Davis. Five ballots were cast and Leonard C. Larrabee was unanimously elected.

To either of the Constables of the Town of Lincoln in said County: GREETING:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify the legal voters of said Town of Lincoln, qualified to vote in Town Meeting for the transaction of Town affairs to meet in the Town Hall in said Lincoln on Monday the ninth day of August next at 8 o'clock P.M., then and there to act on the following Articles by posting a copy of this Warrant by you attested, in each of the Post Offices and some other public place in said Town, seven days at least be- fore the ninth day of August next.
Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of $3,775.00 for Highways and Bridges, to be expended for road surfacing work, or take any action relative thereto.
ยท Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of money to be expended for the construction of an Honor Board, for Lincoln men and women serving with the armed forces of the United States of America, direct the Selectmen to proceed with said construction, arrange for the erection and dedication, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of money for Insurance on Town property to provide adequate protection for the Town, or take any action relative thereto.

In accordance with the above Warrant the meeting was called to order by the Moderator at 8 o'clock P.M., the return of the Warrant was read by the Town Clerk.
Article 1. Voted: That the sum of $3,775.00 be appro- priated for Highways and Bridges, to be expended for road surfacing work, said sum to be taken from Free Cash. And further it was
Resolved: That in as much as the appropriation of $3,775.00 for Highway use fulfills in part the purpose for which the pur- chase of bonds under Article 7 of the Annual Town Meeting of 1943 was voted, it is the sense of the meeting that of the bonds so purchased the amount then designated for Highway use be reduced from $4,950.00 to $1,175.00 and that $3,775.00 be added as an item for general purposes consistent with Chapter 5 of the Acts of 1943.
