The whole number of persons admitted to the house during the year was twenty-one; the largest number at any one time was twenty; the smallest, fifteen; average number, sixteen and four- fifths; average expenditures of the house through the year have been one dollar twelve cents and five mills per week.
There has been raised, the past season, upon the land connected with the house, crops sufficient to supply the house during the sum- mer and autumn. Also, harvested for the benefit of the house the following amount of produce, to wit: Two and one-half tons of English hay, seventy-five bushels of potatoes, twenty bushels of turnips, seven bushels of parsnips, two and one-half bushels of beets, three bushels of beans, one and one-half tons of pumpkins.

One and one-half barrels of pork, one and one-third barrels of beef, forty bushels of potatoes, ten bushels of turnips, four bushels of parsnips, two bushels of beets, two bushels of corn, one and one-half bushels of corn meal, one and one-half bushels of beans sixty pounds of ham, fifty pounds of fish, two-thirds of a barrel of , fish tongues, fifty pounds of lard, one-half barrel of flour, eight gallons of molasses, three pounds of tea, two pounds of soda, one barrel of soap, four tons of coal, two cords of white pine wood, one cord of oak wood, one cord of pitch pine wood, one ton of hay, one cow, three hogs.
