PETITION FOR RECOUNT FOR DEMOCRATIC DELEGATES TO STATE CONVENTION

April 30, 1936.

To The Registrars of Voters of the Town of Braintree:

We, the undersigned voters of Braintree represent that we have reason to believe and do believe that the records or copies of records made by the election officers of said Town, of the ballots cast at the preprimary election on April 28, for the office of Delegate to the Democratic State Convention are erroneous in this respect: that Joseph P. Barrett and Joseph S. Drinkwater were credited with more and Kenneth J. Kelley was credited with less votes than were cast for them respectively and we believe that a recount of ballots cast in said town will effect the election of Kenneth J. Kelley.

We therefore ask, that the votes cast for Joseph P. Barrett, Joseph S. Drinkwater and Kenneth J. Kelley be recounted.
