D. 1921, at eight o'clock, to hear and act on the following articles, viz. :

To see if the town will petition the Legislature to extend such financial assistance to the Town of Saugus as will enable the Public Schools of the town to equal in quality those of any other town or city in Massachusetts, at a tax rate for school purposes as low as the lowest of any municipality in the Commonwealth, or to see what action the town will take in the matter, upon petition of Frank P. Bennett and others.

To see if the town will vote to transfer from the appropriation of $3,000 voted at the Special Town Meeting of October 4, 1920, for the purchase of the Revere Water System in the Town of Saugus and for the connecting of the same to the water system of the Town of Saugus to be expended by and at the discretion of the Board of Selectmen to the following departments, viz. : Fire Department, $1,000; Selectmen's Department, $200; Town Hall Account, $831 ; Police Depart- ment, $825 ; and $144 for Tax Account, or to see what action the town will take in the matter.
