In carrying out this plan, inexpensive shelves have already been built in the hall. The children's books are to be moved as soon as the stacks for them can be procured, which it is hoped may be .early in the coming year.


This arrangement, however, only defers the more radical change which, with the continued growth of the library, must come sooner or later.
