SECTION IIIA. LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICTS

In a limited business district, no building structure, apparatus or appliance shall be erected, altered, placed or set in or upon any premises used for business purposes, within thirty (30) feet of the street line. No occupancy or plan for occupancy of business premises shall be approved in any such limited business district, unless there is provided sufficient space for the loading and unloading of vehicles on the premises so occupied.
SECTION IV. INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT USES

In an industrial district no building or premises shall be erected, altered, or used for the storage or sale of junk or for any purpose injurious, noxious or offensive to a neighborhood by reason of the emission of odor, fumes, dust, smoke, vibration, or noise or other cause.

SECTION VA. THE USE OF LAND
No sod, loam, sand, gravel, or quarry stone shall be removed for sale except when incidental to and in conformity with the construction of a building for which a permit has been issued in accordance with the build- ing laws. The use of land for any purpose other than those specifically provided for in these by-laws is hereby forbidden except by the permission of the Board of Zoning Appeals.
SECTION VI.
By changing SECTION VI, Item 4. so as to read as follows:
4. Lot Size. In a residence district no dwelling shall be erected or maintained except on lots containing 10,000 square feet each and having a frontage of not less than 100 feet at the building line, and not more than one dwelling shall be erected on each such lot except that (a) a lot of less than 20,000 square feet and more than 15,000 square feet may be divided into lots containing not less than 7,500 square feet each and having a frontage of not less than 75 feet at the building line and (b) if a lot contains more than 20,000 square feet and if after division into as many 10,000 square feet lots as practicable, there remains a lot cf 7,500 square feet or more, one dwelling may be erected on such remaining lot provided

the same has a frontage of not less than 75 feet. One dwelling may be erected on a lot containing less than 100 feet, if such lot was recorded at the time of the adoption of this by-law, either if separately owned, and contains 3,200 square feet and did not at the time of such adoption adjoin other land of the same owner available for use in connection with said lot. Any recorded lot size may be increased subject to approval of the Board of Appeals.
By adding to SECTION VI a new item designated 7. so as to read as follows:
7. No lot on which is located any building used for residence purposes in any district shall be reduced or change in area or shape so that the building or lot fails to comply with the provisions of this by-law. This section, however, shall not apply in the case of a lot a portion of which may be transferred for a municipal purpose.
SECTION VII. ADMINISTRATION
By designating the present Item 1. Item 1 a. and by adding Item 1 b. and Item 1 c. to read respectively as follows:
1 b. If the Inspector of Buildings shall be informed, or have reason to believe that any provision of this by-law has been, is being or may be violated, he may make or cause to be made an investigation of the facts and inspect the property where the violation may exist. If he shall find any such violation he shall give notice thereof in writing to the owner or to his duly authorized agent and to the occupant of the premises and order that any use of any building contrary to the provisions of this by- law immediately ceases.
1 c. If, after such notice, the premises are continued to be used in a manner contrary to the provisions of this by law of if any such owner or occupant shall fail to obey any lawful order of the Inspector of Buildings in respect to any violation or use contrary to the provisions of this by-law. the Inspector of Buildings shall make a written report of the facts to the Town Counsel, who shall institute such court proceedings, either civil or criminal, as the facts shall in his opinion warrant.
ARTICLE 19. (At Request of Frances L. Colasanti and Others). To see if the Town will vote to change the zoning by-laws of Weymouth to include the following described parcels of land as business districts: "Land on Rinaldo Road, Private Way, in East Weymouth, shown as Lots 84 and 85 on "Plan of Subdivision of land of Amelio and Antonietta Colasanti. Weymouth, Mass.", dated December 30, 1949, Russell H. Whiting, Civil Engineer:
Lots 38 and 39 on Rinaldo Road, and shown on "Plan of Subdivision of lands of Amelio and Antonietta Colasanti, Weymouth, Mass.", dated February 10, 1949, Russell H. Whiting, Civil Engineer.
Lots 11 on Green Street, and shown on "Plan of Subdivision of lands of Amelio and Antonietta Colasanti, Weymouth, Mass.", dated February 10, 1949, Russell H. Whiting, Civil Engineer.
or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 20. (At request of Union Congregational Society of Wey- mouth and Others). To see if the Town will vote to change the zoning by-laws of Weymouth by extending the business district at South Wey- mouth to include the Parish House and Parsonage of the Union Congre- gational Society of Weymouth. This property beginning at the north west corner of Columbian Street and Fogg Road runs northwesterly by

Columbian Street about 330 feet; thence southwesterly by land of the Dr. George Emerson about 300 feet; continuing southwesterly by land of the South Shore Hospital about 25 feet; thence southerly by land now or formerly of Jessie K. Newbert, about 175 feet; thence northeasterly by Fogg Road about 365 feet to point of beginning; containing in all about 74,900 square feet of land, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 21. (At request of Haskett D. Blanchard and Others). To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Wey- mouth by changing the following district from residence district to busi- ness district, Block 291, Lot 5, Sheets 21 and 22, containing 45,900 square feet as shown on 1950 Atlas of the Town of Weymouth, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 22. (At Request of Joseph Hockberg and Others). To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Weymouth by changing the following district from residential district to business district Block 292, Lot 17, 50,900 feet, block 292, Lot 18, 58;300 feet; sheet 22 as shown on 1950 Atlas of the Town of Weymouth, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 23. (At Request of Alfred W. Cadman and Others). To'see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Weymouth by changing the following district from residence district to Industrial Block 13, Lot 2, Sheet 5, containing 138,500 feet as shown on 1950 Atlas of the Town of Weymouth, or take any other action in relation thereto.
PROTECTION OF PERSONS AND PROPERTY
ARTICLE 24. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for Civil Defense, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 25. (At Request of Police Department). To see what action the Town will take in granting a five day week schedule for permanent members of the Police Force.
ARTICLE 26. (At Request of Fire Department). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the purpose of placing fire alarm circuits underground from the Fire Headquarters to Central Square, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 27. (At Request of the Tree Warden). To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $11,000.00 for Dutch Elm Disease control work, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 28. (At Request of the Tree Warden). To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $3,375.00 for aerial spraying for the control of mosquitoes and other insect pests, or take any other action in relation thereto.
HEALTH AND SANITATION
ARTICLE 29. (At Request of the Weymouth Taxpayers Association). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for sewer construction, or take any other action in relation thereto.
HIGHWAYS
ARTICLE 30. (On Petition and by Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will accept the several reports of the Selectmen laying out as

ARTICLE 31. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to reconstruct, resurface, widen, straighten, relocate or work

or any portion of said way and for the building of any bridges, drains and conduits, or securing easments which may be necessary in connection therewith; and to see whether the Town will authorize the Board of Select- men to accept deeds of any reservation strips existing in connection with said street, provided the state, or county, or both, will appropriate a sum of money to help defray the expense of such work; and transfer from the surplus funds that the Town may have, the county, and state share of said cost, the amount of this transfer on reimbursement to be credited to the account from which it came; and will authorize the Board of Select-

and one hundred yards beyond Harland Road towards Weymouth Landing by piping the above area, or take any other action in relation thereto.
